1. For a stay shorter than 3 months: a visa is not required for the holders of biometric passports
For a stay shorter than 3 months, a Schengen visa is required for the holders of ordinary passports. To obtain a visa for short stay, holders of biometric passports have to contact the Embassy of the Netherlands in Sarajevo with which Belgium has signed a representation agreement.
Upon arrival in Belgium you must report to the local authorities in the municipality (commune/gemeente) where you reside.
It is possible to stay in the Schengen zone 90 days within a period of 180 days.
2. For a stay longer than 3 months: a visa is required
